
Sartago is a great culinary addition to the array of Richmond restaurants, using the best produce that the farmers of Victoria have to offer, organic and sustainable where possible, we aim to recreate the healthy way of dining of the Mediterranean basin, right here in Melbourne; sharing different flares and cultures for a unique dining experience.
We strive to be has adherent as possible to the traditional recipes, from Italy to France, Spain to Portugal, Morocco to Lebanon and more.
As our motto says: Food For The Body – Wine For The Soul, we want to honour the diner while respecting the land. From our daily bread, pure sour-doughs baked in house, to slow cooked goat Tagine using the whole carcass.
Riccardo offers cooking classes where he teaches the simplicity of Italian cuisine, his own country, the use of spices from the Middle East and the communal Mediterranean diet.
